5.7x28mm Ammo
5.7 ammunition was originally designed as a military replacement for 9mm sub-machine guns favored by may NATO rear echelon, artillery and armored units. The 5.7x28mm round dimensionally is the same bullet as the 5.56mm / .223. Typically most bullets and ammunition will range in the 28-grain to 40-grain weights. Through agreements with Fiocchi Ammunition, FN is now able to maintain a regular supply of 5.7 ammo to a rapidly growing US market.
